WA AIP Student Conference 2025
The WA AIP committee holds the Australian Institute of Physics WA Student Conference each year. This conference brings together young researchers from around Western Australia, providing them with the opportunity to present their research in a stimulating and friendly atmosphere. AIP-WA is hosting it's Annual Student Conference this year on 14th of November 2025 in Ross Lecture Theatre, School of Physics, University of Western Australia. This event is open for different stream of Physics students in their respective courses of study including, Undergraduate, Honours, Masters and PhD students. We are also welcoming students from all different WA Universities including Curtin and Murdoch to the event.
We are happy to invite different stream of Physics Student including:
- Astronomy, astrophysics and cosmology
- Biophysics
- Computational physics
- Experimental physics
- Geophysics
- Medical physics
- Quantum Physics
- Theoretical physics
Other Physics related streams students such as physical chemistry, engineering, spectroscopy etc, are also encouraged to participate.
A special session will feature an active panel discussion with our industry partners and other experts, offering valuable insights into job opportunities.
The Conference is fully catered. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the day for all the participants attending the Conference. Best Presentations and Poster will be rewarded by the judges and experts attending the Conference.
