Physclips

Physclips is a multimedia introduction to physics created by Joe Wolfe and George Hatsidimitrisat at the University of New South Wales.

The website holds a complete introduction to mechanics, waves and sound with a few other topics included. 

Physics Fails

Dr Avi Shalav , from the University of New South Wales, has developed Shalav Shack Physics Fails. This short video series, filmed and edited during the 2020 pandemic, shows the hilarious trials and tribulations of conducting live physics demonstrations from the isolated “safety” of one’s own home.

3 JCN Physics simulations

Thomas Nguyen, an adjunct physics instructor in California (USA) is the creator of 3JCN Physics Simulation, a free, browser-based Open Educational Resource (OER) platform providing  300+ interactive 3D physics simulations for undergraduate physics education. 

All simulations are fully open-access, require no login or installation, and are widely used worldwide as:

  • Lecture and tutorial demonstrations

  • Online and in-class lab supplements

  • Conceptual visualization tools

  • Independent study resources for students
