The Tasmanian Branch of the AIP wrapped up their Einstein Year celebrations at the beginning of December with a professional development seminar for science teachers. Participants heard from physicists and chemists on the frontiers of their disciplines in this free seminar.

This photo was taken during one of Professor David Jamieson's lectures as part of the National Lecture Tour. There was an official launch of the book "History of Physics in Tasmania 1792-1982" written by Dr Geoff Fenton, before this 13 July lecture.
