This workshop covers much of the content required to teach the 'Cosmic Engine' core topic and 'Astrophysics' option for the NSW Stage 6 Physics course. Sessions include talks by professional astronomers about their current work and how it relates to the syllabus as well as practical ideas and approaches for use in the classroom.
