The seminar’s theme is environment, as well as science and the curriculum development proposals. Its objective is to link Department, high school, college, university and professional people, to develop mutual understanding and possible action strategies, and you are invited to submit your comments and suggestions about other issues that should be considered.
The seminar, being held on 3 to 4 December at the Australian Antarctic Division (because of its link to the international Polar Year) in Kingston, Tasmania, will be officially opened by the Minister for Education, the Hon. David Bartlett.
