FIRST AUSTRALIAN SUMMER SCHOOL ON THEORETICAL ASTROPHYSICS
Its aim is to provide graduate students with an up-to-date overview of topics in theoretical astrophysics, which have significant international impact. It will outline historical development, current status, and future developments and questions.
International speakers and topics will include Annalisa Celotti from SISSA, Italy who will speak about Astrophysical Jets. John Kirk from Heidelberg, Germany who will speak about particle acceleration. John Peacock from Edinburgh, UK who will speak about cosmology. Zdenka Kuncic from the University of Sydney who will speak about Accretion. And Bing Zhang from University of Nevada, USA who will speak about gamma ray bursts.
