Applications sought for prestigious ANU/RMIT PhD Scholarship for research in Advanced Materials / Nanotechnology
ANU/RMIT PhD Scholarship (Advanced Materials / Nanotechnology)

Applications are sought for a new PhD Scholarship to undertake study in Advanced Materials/Nanotechnology. Two such scholarships are available, one tenable at the Australian National University and one tenable at the RMIT. Scholarships are for full-time study and are open to Australian and New Zealand citizens and will be awarded competitively based on academic performance and/or research experience.

A broad range of projects is available in areas relating to semiconductor materials-science, nanotechnology and photonics. Both fundamental and application-based projects are available.

Scholarships are valued at $25,000 p.a. plus up to $5,000 in project support.

Applications should include a brief description of your interest in Materials Science/Nanotechnology, a Curriculum-Vitae, including academic transcript, and a list of two referees, one of whom can comment on your academic record. Applications can be sent to the contacts below.

Applications close 31 October 2007 for projects commencing in 2008.
